Description

We are seeking someone that would like to work with, and can handle, a combination of responsibilities including general maintenance and upkeep of the hotel, serving guests at the bar, and handling guest check-in/check-out and other front desk duties.

The role can be part or full-time depending on qulifications and flexibility. The applicant must be able to work weekends. Candidates will have to be able to work night shifts.

  • General Maintenance:Maintaining the hotel’s physical structure and grounds, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • Equipment Maintenance:Ensuring all equipment is in good working order, performing repairs, and conducting preventative maintenance.
  • Safety Inspections:Identifying and addressing potential safety hazards to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
  • Emergency Repairs:Responding to urgent maintenance requests, such as leaks, power outages, or other issues.
  • Record Keeping:Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory.
  • Safety and Compliance:Ensuring the hotel meets all health and safety regulations, fire codes, and building codes.

Bar Responsibilities:

  • Serving Guests: Preparing and serving drinks, taking orders, and providing excellent customer service at the hotel bar.
  • Maintaining Bar Area: Ensuring the bar area is clean, organized, and well-stocked.
  • Handling Transactions: Processing payments and handling cash transactions accurately.
  • Promoting Amenities: Informing guests about the hotel’s bar, restaurant, and other amenities.
  • Maintain stock and ordering

Hotel Receptionist Responsibilities:

  • Afternoon and night shifts
  • Guest Check-in/Check-out: Greeting guests, assigning rooms, and managing the check-in/check-out process.
  • Handling Reservations: Managing reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
  • Answering Phones: Answering incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate departments.
  • Providing Information: Providing guests with information about the hotel, local attractions, and amenities.
  • Handling Guest Requests: Addressing guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintaining Records: Maintaining accurate guest records and handling administrative tasks.
  • Promoting Hotel Services: Encouraging guests to utilize hotel amenities and services, including the bar and restaurant.
