JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. This leadership role requires a strong background in industrial maintenance, project management, and team supervision. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, HVAC, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). As the Maintenance Director, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of all maintenance activities while promoting a safe and productive work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in a management role within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings related to mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience supervising teams.
  • Solid mechanical knowledge coupled with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance.
  • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems and low voltage electrical systems is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the maintenance team to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Oversee the scheduling and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, inventory, and equipment status.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues.
  • Provide technical guidance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and low voltage systems.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities with production schedules.
  • Train and mentor staff in best practices for maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
  • Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
