OVERVIEW

The Hotel Maintenance Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of hotel facilities by performing maintenance and repair tasks across various systems. This position requires a blend of technical skills, mechanical knowledge, and customer service abilities to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial maintenance and be proficient in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems, electrical systems, and mechanical equipment.

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN PLASTER, PAINTING, PLUMBING, BASIC ELECTRICAL/AC, AND CARPENTER EXPERIENCE A PLUS.

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on hotel equipment and systems, including HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues related to programmable logic controllers (PLC), hydraulics, and other automated systems.

  • Read and interpret schematics to diagnose problems effectively.
  • Maintain precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest requests related to maintenance issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure minimal disruption during maintenance activities.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN PLASTER, PAINTING, PLUMBING, BASIC ELECTRICAL/AC, AND CARPENTER EXPERIENCE A PLUS.

  • Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or in a similar role within a manufacturing facility or hotel setting.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance practices.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems, electrical systems (high voltage and low voltage), and field service operations.
  • Ability to analyze problems effectively using strong analysis skills.

  • Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with team members and guests. Spanish a plus.
