Description

We are hiring a maintenance worker to join our maintenance team. You will inspect different equipment and perform any basic repairs or preventative maintenance when required. To do well in this role you should have previous experience in maintenance, and be skilled with various hand and power tools.

  • Keep all mechanical areas in a neat and orderly condition.
  • Inspect public areas daily in case of problems arising unexpectedly.
  • Offer maintenance and repairs to public areas, guestrooms and administrators’ office buildings.
  • Carry out consistent preventive maintenance programs on rooms and regularly updates records on files.
  • Guarantee that projects are all promptly accomplished and in line with appropriate specifications.
  • Work together with the front office manager and housekeeper, and connects with the manager to discuss any aspect of operations which will involve the maintenance department.
  • Assess requirements for completing reports or work orders to the management as stated by standard procedures.
  • Engage inflexible work schedules to be able to perform well during emergencies.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Kamloops, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

  • Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
