Position Title: Hotel Manager – Highfield Private Hotel
Location: 166 Victoria Street, Potts Point, Sydney NSW
Employment Type: Full-time, ongoing
Salary: $70,000 – $85,000 per annum plus superannuation.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • At least a Relevant Diploma in Hospitality
  • At least one year of relevant experience.
  • Proven ability to lead, supervise, and roster staff in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of financial management, including budgeting and purchasing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with hotel property management systems will be highly regarded.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Highfield Private Hotel, a boutique property in Sydney’s vibrant Potts Point, is seeking a skilled and motivated Hotel Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of hotel operations. The role involves managing guest services, staff, budgets, and compliance to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the hotel while maintaining exceptional service standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct and oversee reservation, reception, room service, and housekeeping operations.
  • Supervise security arrangements, property maintenance, and garden upkeep.
  • Plan and supervise bar, restaurant, function and conference activities.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing, and other relevant laws and regulations.
  • Monitor and review customer satisfaction, and implement improvements to maintain high standards of service.
  • Oversee accounting, budgets, and purchasing activities to manage financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements.
  • Represent the hotel in dealings with guests, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Provide guests with tourism information, and assist with arrangements for tours and transport where required.
