The Miami is a small independent hotel. Our management team work within the business i.e. being rostered in reception, night audit and in housekeeping therefore experience in all departments is a must.
Duties include:
- Running and overseeing reception
- Leading and mentoring reception and housekeeping staff
- Tending to the daily runnings of the hotel including; Financials, sales optimization, rostering
- Running Night Audit Reports
- IT Support
- School Group Briefings
- Housekeeping Supervising
- Basic Hotel Maintenance
- Managing reservations and guest requests through AirBnB
To be considered for this position you must:
- Have a minimum of at least 5 years experience in Hotel Management.
- Be available ALL days of the week including afternoon, evening and overnight on a flexible roster.
- Have Night Audit experience (minimum 1 year)
- Have knowledge and experience in housekeeping preferably as a supervisor (minimum 1 year) .
- Have experience with Group Accommodation; specialising in School groups
- Have experience in Conflict Resolution
- Have a valid WWC and Police Check
- Have effective communication skills (written and spoken)
- Hold a Valid Victorian Drivers License and have own car
- Have a Diploma in Hospitality
