ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Hotel Manager to oversee our charming property located in Port Douglas CBD. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to lead daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and efficient property management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage guest check-ins, check-outs, and inquiries
  • Handle daily payments and financial reporting, including weekly income/expense summaries and cash reconciliations.
  • Oversee property maintenance and security
  • Supervise housekeeping staff, including scheduling and payroll
  • Ensure cleanliness of guest rooms, communal areas, and outdoor spaces
  • Manage laundry operations and linen organisation
  • Monitor and restock housekeeping supplies
  • Liaise with tradespeople for repairs and address minor maintenance issues
  • Build relationships with local businesses to attract guests
  • Engage with the local community to enhance the property’s reputation
  • Maintain accurate records of supplier deliveries and invoices
  • Prepare weekly revenue forecasts using company templates
  • Manage the Hotel Bar and oversee the operation of the Hotel
