Job Description A rare opportunity for an experienced Hotel/General Manager to lead the largest hotel in Scotland as Hotel Manager for Motel One Glasgow. With 374 guest rooms, located next to Glasgow Central Station, commercial experience and knowledge of the Glasgow market is a must. As Hotel Manager for Motel One, you are a passionate host and show your enthusiasm for the hotel industry. Your mission: You create an inspiring working atmosphere, develop talent and lead your team with clarity and empathy. You always have guest satisfaction, quality and economic success in mind - and take your hotel to the next level. Your duties will also include: Recruitment of new employees as well as management, motivation and training of your team Organisation, coordination and control of all operational and administrative departments as well as ensuring and implementing the defined Motel One standards Achievement of sales/revenue targets and adhering to the cost budget Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in close cooperation with the head office departments and regular reporting to regional management Maintaining and improving customer and guest satisfaction, as well as helping to acquire new customers and guests Actively strengthening and developing the location in collaboration with the regional team and the head office departments Qualifications Do you have a great personality and excellent hosting skills? Do you impress with your professionalism, empathy and entrepreneurial thinking? - Then you'll fit in with us! You also have: Several years of experience as a Hotel/General Manager with high volume branded hotels, ideally within Glasgow. Leadership experience and the ability to motivate and develop your team Previous experience in the rooms division in the city or chain hotel industry Entrepreneurial thinking, organisational skills and strong decision-making abilities A passion about providing outstanding service to make every guest experience unforgettable.
