OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Night Porter/Manager to join our team at Whitworth Hall. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for our guests, providing exceptional service while maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the premises. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a hospitality setting and possess strong communication skills. When there are no events taking place at Whitworth support will be required at our other local venues Lartington Hall, Runa Farm and The Croft Hotel.

SKILLS

• Strong background in hospitality or guest services is preferred.
• Familiarity with hotel operations is beneficial but not essential.
• A friendly demeanour with a genuine desire to assist others.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of weddings held on-site.
• Serve hotel residents drinks
• Set up breakfast for the next morning.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
• Monitor the condition of facilities and report any maintenance issues to management.
• Uphold company standards for safety and cleanliness at all times.
• Be responsible for the safety and security of our venue and its guests overnight.
