WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU!

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working nights in a similar role, preferably from within the hospitality/hotel sector. You’ll be computer literate, comfortable with Microsoft office and confident to learn new IT processes.
We are looking for candidates who are self-motivated, able to mange your time effectively and regulate your own work schedule. Ablility to balance and prioritise multiple duties and demands throughout the night.

Responsibilities
  1. To oversee the running of the hotel during designated night shifts incorporating all aspects of guest service, cleaning and administration.
  2. To greet each and every guest with a friendly and professional welcome, offering help and suggestions when appropriate, ensuring all guests needs are met or exceeded.
  3. To complete the night porter checklist covering all necessary daily tasks including the cleaning, tidying and organising of guest and team areas.
  4. To undertake regular internal and external security checks of the hotel with emphasis on security and fire safety.
  5. To be competent with the hotel reception systems and processes, able to check in and check out guests, to amend and to place new reservations.
  6. To continue beverage service after the restaurant closes, in accordance with the company policy and licensing laws.
  7. To assist with, or when relevant complete personally the clean and closedown of the hotel bar and bar area.
  8. To communicate clearly to other front of house team members and to management all necessary information including guest movements and incidents.
  9. To set up the continental breakfast buffet and prepare the restaurant ready for breakfast service.
  10. To replenish bar products with appropriate rotation and undertake a nightly audit of bar and beverage stock levels, completing order form ready for the day team.
