Job Description
As the Welcome Porter, you embody Pullman’s progressive values through your presentation, personality and energy. You are the host of the lobby, welcoming guests with warmth and engaging interactions, highlighting how the space reflects our commitment to progress. You bring unique perspectives and life experiences to enrich the guest experience. With a wealth of brand, hotel and city knowledge, guests instinctively turn to you for assistance. By connecting meaningfully with guests, you will become a familiar face and source of inspiration for progressive ideals for guests and Heartist® alike.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Welcome all guests and visitors with charismatic warmth, creating an atmosphere woven around real conviviality.
  • Being present and visible in the lobby, to be easily identifiable by guests as the person to whom they should go to.
  • You will assist with the transfer, storage and handling of guest luggage and property, park and retrieve guest cars as requested
  • Park Guests’ Cars

Qualifications

  • To be successful in this role, you must hold a New Zealand Driver License
  • Ability to work on a rotating roster over 7 days if required, including weekends, public holidays and morning and night shifts.
  • Passion for providing unparalleled levels of service
  • Exceptional grooming and articulate in communication
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
  • Physically fit and able to lift at least 30kg
  • The right to work in New Zealand
