We are looking for a part time Hotel Porter, this will initially be to cover weekend day times (example shifts 7.30-15.00 or 15.00-22.30); but you will also be required to cover night porter hours as the needs of the business and for holiday cover.
Applicants should be over 18 years of age due to the night time hours required and security responsibilities.
Our Porter roles are key to ensuring Hotel standards are maintained on a daily basis. A welcoming appearance must be presented to guests both internally & externally.
Must have customer service experience and be well presented.

Duties will include:

• Check & deliver room service breakfasts
• Set up meeting rooms
• Assist guests with luggage & any other requirements
• Assist reception when needed with any arrivals or departure & answer the phone when busy
• Organise daily lunch requirements
• Serve Teas & Coffee in the lounge
• Assistant with beverage deliveries
• Food & Beverage duties as and when required
• Assist the housekeeping department with laundry, pull outs and additional bed requests.

Part Time Hours, but could change depending on the need of the business.

Additional Night Porter duties as required include:

• Maintaining the security of the Hotel overnight.
• Check in/out of guests.
• Food & Beverage requests.
• General cleaning/maintenance as requested by Duty Manager.

Porter rotas are published on a monthly basis.
