JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual or multilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as they will enhance our guest services.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in hospitality or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on guest services; bilingual or multilingual abilities are an advantage.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required by hotel operations.
  • Proficient in using computer systems for reservations and payments; familiarity with hotel management software is a plus.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Greet guests upon arrival with a warm smile and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Manage reservations and handle guest inquiries via phone, email, or in person with excellent phone etiquette.
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
  • Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
  • Maintain the reception area in an organised manner, ensuring it is clean and presentable at all times.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed, such as filing or data entry.
