JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Proficient in phone etiquette and communication skills.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse guests effectively.
  • Familiarity with front desk operations and hotel management software is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in handling guest requests and reservations.
  • Knowledge of Opera Cloud ( an asset)

Responsibilities
  • Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Manage the front desk operations, including checking guests in and out of the hotel.
  • Answer phone calls promptly, providing information about hotel services and responding to inquiries.
  • Handle guest requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and billing details.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including managing phone systems and coordinating with other departments.
  • Promote hotel services and amenities to enhance guest experiences.
  • Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
