An exciting opportunity for a Full Time Receptionist & Reservationist to join the team at our award-winning Cantley House Hotel in Wokingham, Berkshire
The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that we offer a warm and professional welcome to all our guests, first time, on time, every time.
They will ensure a consistently high quality of service to all guests by delivering Cantley House Hotel standards.
They will support other members of the front desk team and draw on previous customer facing experience to achieve service and revenue targets.
An able communicator, the applicant must be able to demonstrate their ability to converse with a wide variety of guests and colleagues at all levels, therefore a high standards of literacy, numeracy and computer systems are also essential, all whilst being in a high pressure environment.
The applicant must be able to demonstrate their immaculate presentation standards and attention to detail at all times.

Duties will include:

  • Check in and out of guests;
  • Effective reservation & event enquiry handling
  • Collating guest service feedback;
  • Giving, receiving and handover of information
  • Accurate billing and posting of revenue
  • Effective general enquiry handling from guests and colleagues
  • Creating & allocating bedroom, restaurant & group reservations

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible, passionate and have an eye for detail.
The position will include a mixture of early (07:00-15:00) and late shifts (15:00-23:00) and will also include weekends.
