Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are currently looking for part time or full-time Receptionists who will work directly alongside the reception team to ensure the highest levels of customer service throughout the day and resolve any issues in a quick and efficient manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Provide a warm, welcoming front desk service and ensure all guests needs are catered for.
· Efficiently checking guests into their rooms, whilst building rapport with the guest, to achieve the best experience they can have.
· Inform guests about and Promote the hotel’s range of services in order to increase sales.
· To understand and support The Last Drop Village Hotel’s commitment to Customer Service within the job role.
· Checks cleanliness of lobby and public areas, lights and as well as front office staff in proper and orderly appearance and behaviour.
· To ensure the team are completing the necessary checks for bookings and calls and emails have been dealt with as per the SOP
· Manage any cash under your responsibility.
· Co-ordinates with all departments concerned in order to maintain Front Office functions properly.
· Operates the front office system in order to assist front office attendants.
· Liaising with the reservations at all times, for all updates and information which is essential for a smooth guest experience
· Handles guest enquiries and complaints and other related problems
· Authorises charges to be made for late departures and/or compliments on them.
· Maintains and be guided of hotel policy on credit/lost and found hotel guests properties.
· To undertake relevant training as directed by their Line Manager.
· The post holder may be directed by their line manger to carry out other duties and responsibilities in line with his/her post, grade, skills, knowledge and experience. .
