We are looking for a friendly receptionist to join our team at the The Old Bell Hotel in Malmesbury.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
  • Ensure knowledge of the hotel and opening times for all areas
  • Covering occasional night shifts when necessary (to cover holidays)
  • Check guests in and out of the hotel in a friendly manner
  • Provide an excellent service to all guests throughout the hotel
  • Ensure guest satisfaction throughout their stay
  • Booking guests in over the phone and in person for a stay
  • Be confident, reliable and work well as part of a team
  • Take payments for guests stays
  • Ensure the reception and surrounding areas are clean and presentable
  • Assist with administrative and clerical tasks as needed
  • Other duties as assigned.

What we are looking for:

  • To have a genuine and warm approach, with stand out people skills
  • Good communication skills, and level of English – both written and spoken
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other necessary computer programs
  • Ability to maintain a positive, friendly attitude even under pressure
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Previous experience is preferred but we are more interested in your passion for great customer service and exceptional people skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.28-£12.50 per hour
