Take the opportunity to become a Heartist®, and let your heart guide you in this world where life beats faster Job Description Key Responsibilities Sales & Revenue Generation Proactively identify, target, and secure new business for the hotel across agreed market segments Manage and grow existing client accounts to maximise room nights, meetings, and event revenue Achieve and exceed individual and hotel sales targets and KPIs Prepare and negotiate contracts, rates, and proposals in line with brand and revenue strategies Account Management & Relationship Building Build strong relationships with corporate clients, agencies, and local businesses Conduct regular client meetings, site inspections, and hotel show-rounds Represent Novotel Sheffield at networking events, trade shows, and sales missions Market & Strategy Analyse local market trends, competitor activity, and client needs Contribute to the hotel’s annual sales and marketing plan Work closely with Revenue, Reservations, and Operations teams to optimise performance Administration & Reporting Maintain accurate records in CRM and sales systems Produce regular sales reports, forecasts, and activity updates Ensure all sales activity complies with brand standards and company policies Qualifications Skills & Experience Required Essential Previous experience in hotel sales, hospitality sales, or a similar B2B sales role Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Excellent organisation and time-management abilities Confident user of CRM systems and Microsoft Office Desirable Experience within an international hotel brand Knowledge of the Sheffield or regional hospitality market Experience selling meetings, events, or corporate accommodation Additional Information Personal Attributes Results-driven and commercially minded Professional, confident, and relationship-focused Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Team-oriented with a positive and flexible attitude Job-Category: Sales & Marketing Job Type: Permanent Job Schedule: Full-Time Compensation: GBP38000 - GBP39000 - monthly
