Achieve Hospitality are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager (MICE) to join the commercial team at a prestigious five-star resort in Fife, Scotland.
This iconic luxury property is set in a stunning coastal location and features over 200 rooms, two championship golf courses, a luxury spa, and a range of award-winning dining experiences. The venue is renowned for hosting high-end meetings, conferences, and events, attracting both domestic and international clients. JOB DESCRIPTION:

As Sales Manager (MICE), you will be responsible for driving group revenue across a designated territory. Your role will focus on sourcing and converting new business, nurturing existing client relationships, and representing the property at key trade and industry events. This is a proactive role that requires a confident communicator, natural networker, and proven closer who thrives in a high-performance environment.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of proactive B2B sales experience, ideally within MICE, luxury travel, or hospitality sectors
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience managing UK and/or international MICE markets
  • Confident in face-to-face meetings, networking events, and trade shows
  • Knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Opera Sales & Catering)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of pipeline management, sales reporting, and market segmentation
  • A self-starter with strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel and represent a world-class destination with professionalism and enthusiasm
  • Eligible to live and work in the UK
Responsibilities

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proactively source, pitch, and secure new MICE business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing key accounts
  • Represent the property at UK and international trade shows, sales missions, and client events
  • Collaborate with global sales teams, tourism boards, and third-party partners to generate leads
  • Develop and execute sales strategies that increase market share, visibility, and revenue
  • Maintain accurate client records and activity reports via CRM systems
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Contribute to forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting processes
  • Deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to client needs
  • Stay current with market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments
