We’re building something new in El Paso! The Voco El Paso Airport, a 121-room lifestyle hotel by IHG, is under construction and set to open in January 2026. We’re seeking a motivated Hotel Sales Manager to join our pre-opening team.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Hotel Sales Manager will play a key role in driving revenue, building client relationships, and positioning the Voco El Paso Airport as a preferred destination for business and leisure travelers. This position will work remotely until the hotel is operational, after which the role will be based onsite at the hotel.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in hotel sales, preferably within branded or full-service hotels.
  • Strong knowledge of local market trends and key business segments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Familiarity with IHG systems and brand standards a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize hotel revenue across corporate, group, and leisure segments.
  • Build strong relationships with local, regional, and national accounts.
  • Conduct virtual and in-person sales calls, presentations, and networking to generate business.
  • Partner with the General Manager and leadership team to create promotional packages and business development initiatives.
  • Actively participate in pre-opening sales efforts, including market research, client outreach, and brand positioning.
  • Ensure seamless transition from pre-opening to operational sales activities once the hotel opens.
