  • A good candidate to join our team to carry out all aspects of the Sales Receptionist’s duties according to the latest ‘Work Instruction.’
  • To be responsible, reliable, loyal, trustworthy, and self-motivated and professional.
  • This is a multi-tasking role that requires good customer service skills, basic computer skills, good administration and organisational skills, and good communication skills.
  • To carry out all aspects of administration with attention to detail using the computerised booking system and processing all the relevant paperwork. Receiving and processing reservations from online booking agents, directly by telephone, by email, and walk ins.
  • To file, organise all the paperwork and payments alongside the current and future reservations.
  • Checking guests in and out. Processing all types of payments with card and cash.
  • Guiding guests with dining options and local shops, and completion of guest registration forms and guest feedback forms.
  • To have good written and spoken English to communicate to guests with booking enquiries in writing by email. To reply to guests requests and messages through by email and bookings online portals in a polite and professional manner.
  • To enjoy working with the General Public. To over exceed the guests’ expectations and guest satisfaction by offering the best customers service at all times.
  • You are the first point of call at the Front Reception and on the telephone, assisting and answering any queries from guests, colleagues, and visitors, and a friendly, professional, and helpful service is vital at all times.
  • To be smartly presentable, welcoming, positive, and offer a friendly, helpful attitude and approach to everyone.
  • To include at times showing guests a room for walk in enquiries.
  • The sales aspect of the role includes offering to the guest the benefits of the hotel to encourage the guest to book and to gain repeat bookings to maintain and increase hotel occupancy.
  • Communicating and liaising with Housekeeping, Night Security, Contractors, and Management to ensure the smooth operations of the hotel.
  • To have good work ethic, be committed, and flexible with shifts.
  • To be adaptable and be willing to carry out additional tasks when necessary and follow instruction form the General Manager.
  • To comply with current hotel policies for guests and staff, including the Fire & Health & Safety Procedures.
  • To undertake training from your receptionist colleague and ongoing training from the General Manager.
  • Part Uniform supplied after training and trial period.
  • Must live locally.
