SENIOR DUTY MANAGER

The Rochestown Park Hotel, Cork is currently seeking an ambitious, dynamic & self-motivated Senior Duty Manager to join its core Management Team.
This is an excellent opportunity for the ideal candidate to ensure the effective and efficient Management of all Hotel operations whilst on duty in a busy, fast paced & vibrant environment.
Excellent communication and organisational skills are required alongside a pleasant personality with strong focus on customer service.
The successful candidate must be able to work flexible shifts which include evenings and weekends.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • max 2/4 years previous experience in a Hotel Duty Management Role Essential
  • Hospitality / Travel & Tourism Management Qualification
  • Office Administration & Computer Skills
  • Knowledge & Experience of Micros
  • Knowledge & Experience in Opera GMS (Guest Reservations System)

Responsibilities
  • To undertake and carry out effectively all Duty Management duties to the required standard
  • To have a visible presence within the Hotel and ensure the smooth running of all departments whilst on duty.
  • To manage allocated functions /weddings / events in the Hotel
  • To resolve guest complaints in a friendly & efficient manner ensuring guest satisfaction at all times whilst maintaining the Hotel’s reputation. Record all feedback and strategise with relevant departmental Managers.
