Uniting Armidale is seeking experienced PPT Kitchenhands/Catering Assistants to join our hotel services team within our aged care home, supporting daily catering operations. We provide high-quality, round-the-clock care for up to 114 residents in private rooms with shared communal spaces. Our compassionate team works closely with residents to understand their individual care needs, tailor support to ensure comfort, and arrange engaging activities that are meaningful and enjoyable Position Overview: As a Care Worker in Hotel Services, you’ll play a key role in supporting independence, dignity, and comfort by providing essential services in catering to create a positive and enriching daily experience for our residents. Play a key role in enhancing resident wellbeing through nutritious meals and support. Monday to Friday – 6am to 2pm or 11:30am to 7:30pm. (Opportunity to work weekends if you are interested). Qualifications & Experience: Certificate III in Hospitality or an equivalent qualification. (Preferred, not mandatory) Minimum 3 months experience in in hospitality or food services – whether in catering, cooking or kitchenhand roles. (Training will be provided however you will need a good understanding of the basics) Knowledge of safe food handling practices and a passion for preparing quality, nutritious meals. Previous experience in community care or aged care is a bonus.
