OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Hotel Reservations/ Revenue Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in maximising revenue and occupancy for our hotel. This position requires a keen understanding of the hospitality industry, strong analytical skills, and the ability to develop pricing strategies that align with market trends. As a Hotel Revenue Manager, you will be responsible for optimising room rates and inventory while ensuring exceptional guest services.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in hotel revenue management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with hotel management software and revenue management systems is advantageous.
  • A background in guest services or hospitality is preferred, demonstrating a commitment to exceptional customer care.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective pricing strategies to maximise revenue across all distribution channels.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Analyse data from various sources to forecast demand and identify opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to create promotional packages that attract guests.
  • Prepare regular reports on revenue performance, occupancy rates, and market analysis for management review.
  • Ensure that all reservations systems are updated with accurate pricing and availability information.
  • Provide training and support to staff on revenue management practices and tools.
  • Maintain strong relationships with guests, ensuring high levels of satisfaction through excellent service.
  • Cover reception shift duties during holidays & sickness periods
