Job Title: Hourly Instructional Youth Apprentice Educator FLSA Exemption Status: Non-Exempt Classification Group: Hourly Supervising Position: School Principal or designee Pay Plan: Hourly Pay Range: Hourly Wage Rate Last Updated: 10/31/2024 Pay Information Benefits Information JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of a licensed staff member, assist students by helping individuals or small groups of students with basic curriculum work, implementing programming, reinforcing learning skills and reinforcing discipline procedures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The subsequent duties outline the fundamental operations of the position and exemplify the nature of the tasks carried out. Assist classroom teachers in prepping materials, administering tests, grading, attendance, etc. Assist with paperwork and documentation as needed Daily 15% 2. Assist students with classroom activities. Assist with curriculum delivery to individuals, as well as small and large groups to ensure mastering of subjects Daily 40% 3. Monitor students and reinforce appropriate behavior during various activities such as play, lunch, recess, and detention Daily 20% 4. Assist with other classroom events, such as field trips or fire drills, as necessary. Monthly 5% 5. Attend grade-level and school meetings to assess data and plan lessons accordingly. Daily 15% 6. Perform other duties as assigned or requested Daily 5% TOTAL 100% REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
