POSITION SUMMARY:

The Research Analyst will conduct experiments on contamination in soils for projects led by the CNR and assist the Director of the CNR in the implementation.

PREREQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS:

• PhD graduate or ongoing in Civil, Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently from the Center Director, and to communicate effectively using emails.
• Effective communication and writing skills.
• At the university’s discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be exempted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with project management.

• Conduct experiments on contamination in soils.
• Assist in investigations of flooding.
• Provide weekly progress reports to Dr. Boufadel.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested by the Center Director.
