Water Street Cafe is a local culinary destination in the center of the seaside village of Stonington Borough. For over 25 years, our chef driven menu, whimsical designs, cozy atmosphere and welcoming service have delighted customers both near and far. We are known for our European and Asian inspired signature dishes which include Stonington fresh caught seafood and produce sourced from local farmers. We have been highly rated by The New York Times, Zagats, Connecticut Magazine, and local publications.
We’re currently hiring a Sous Chef/ Lead Line Cook. You have an opportunity to work and grow with a small restaurant family that fosters a team environment. We want to see you succeed and will encourage you to pursue continuous improvement under strong leadership and guidance.
The Sous Chef is responsible for overseeing the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef.
