The Continuing Education Department of Champlain College Saint-Lambert requires the services of an HOURLY INSTRUCTOR to teach the course of THE PROMISE TO PURCHASE (221-010-LA)
The purpose of this course is to allow students to learn the mechanisms to apply the legislation related to the promises to purchase,
lease or exchange of a residential property so that they can identify, analyze and draft the different related compulsory and recommended forms.
In addition, by the end of the course, students will be able to draft special clauses adapted to a given situation regarding promises to sell,
lease or exchange a residential property. Students will also have to update their records and registers to meet their contractual obligations as brokers.
Required Qualifications :
Must have a thorough knowledge of how to apply the legislation related to the promise to purchase, lease or exchange of a residential property.
Must have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and be a licensed Lawyer or Notary in Quebec or be a licensed Real Estate Agent or Broker in Quebec,
or have a minimum of 6 years’ experience as a Residential Real Estate Broker or Agent.
This course is taught in English; excellent communication skills in English required.
Teaching experience within a similar program is an asset.

Comments :
This course is delivered with a hybrid delivery model. Approximately 20% of course hours will be given in-person
and 80% course hours will be delivered online/at distance.
The specific in-person dates will be determined in collaboration with the hired instructor.
