As a House Coordinator, you’ll lead a residential care home in Seymour guiding a team and supporting young people with complex needs through a therapeutic, trauma-informed approach. This is a unique leadership role where you’re not just managing you’re embedded in the home. You’ll work alongside your team on the floor while also leading operations, creating a safe, consistent, and supportive environment where young people can thrive.   About the Role * Lead a residential care home supporting 4 young people and a team of 8 youth workers * Embed a therapeutic, trauma-informed approach in all aspects of care * Balance hands-on youth work with leadership, supervision, and operational oversight * Oversee care planning, documentation, and case management requirements * Run care team meetings and provide regular staff supervision and team leadership * Manage site operations including compliance, reporting, petty cash, and maintenance * Work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders such as DFFH   Make Your Mark * You’re an experienced residential care leader who can confidently run a house end-to-end * You bring strong knowledge of trauma, attachment, and therapeutic care * You lead from the front comfortable being on shift while guiding your team * You stay calm, consistent, and decisive in the face of complex and challenging behaviours * You know how to build and strengthen team culture through support, structure, and clarity * You’re resilient, independent, and able to hold a space for both staff and young people * You bring experience from similar environments (residential care, youth justice or child protection) * You genuinely care about your team, your work, and improving outcomes for young people   As a House Coordinator at AV you’ll receive: * SCHCADS level 6 remuneration starting at around $110,000 plus super. * Access to Salary Packaging of up to $15,900 plus an entertainment card. * Access to discounted health insurance and other retail discounts. * Access to AV’s suite of Health and Wellbeing benefits, such as our Well Worth It!
