SELF-EMPLOYED HOUSEKEEPER – HOLIDAY COTTAGES AT PRESTON HALL

We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented self-employed housekeeper to join our friendly team at Preston Hall, helping to maintain our three charming holiday cottages to a high standard.
Located in the heart of the Midlothian countryside, our cottages welcome guests seeking comfort, style and a peaceful getaway — and your role is key to making that experience special.

ROLE DETAILS:

• Location: Preston Hall Estate, Midlothian / East Lothian border (EH35)
• Hours: Mondays and Fridays (core changeover days)
• Start Date: Flexible

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Carry out full changeover cleans in our three holiday cottages
• Make up beds to a high standard (linen and towels provided)
• Clean bathrooms, kitchens, living areas and outdoor spaces
• Check supplies and report any damage or maintenance issues
• Ensure each property is guest-ready to our high quality standards
