House Keeping - Immediate Hire Location: Royersford, PA 19468 Company: Weclean Pay: $18.00 per hour Job description: Job Overview We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our nursing home team immediately! In this important role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. Your dedication to cleanliness and infection control plays a vital role in supporting the health, dignity, and well-being of our elderly residents. No prior healthcare housekeeping experience is required we are willing to train reliable and motivated candidates. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, dining areas, and common spaces Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize assigned areas according to facility standards Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces to help maintain a healthy environment Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed Restock housekeeping supplies, linens, and personal care items Follow infection control guidelines and safety procedures at all times Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly Maintain accurate cleaning logs and supply inventory records Assist with deep cleaning projects and special cleaning assignments as directed by management Skills & Qualifications Previous housekeeping, janitorial, custodial, or cleaning experience is preferred but not required Experience in healthcare, nursing home, assisted living, or hospitality settings is a plus Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness Understanding of proper cleaning techniques and safe chemical handling practices Excellent reliability, professionalism, and work ethic Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift Compassionate and respectful attitude when interacting with residents, families, and staff Join our team and help create a clean, safe, and welcoming home for our residents.
