Requirements The House Manager at CCI & SIR is responsible for performing advanced indirect and selected direct client care duties in support of the clients living skills program in a competent manner under the direction of the Housing Director. The House Manager provides general oversight of the housing environment and reports all environmental needs as it relates to supporting clients, to the operations and housing director. The House Manager also conducts Case Management duties including but not limited to assessing, planning and facilitating care coordination to meet the client's individual needs. Ensure all clients are woken up by 6:30 a.m. • Facilitate morning meeting/meditation and chores • Make sure clients maintain proper hygiene and dress appropriately • Review client schedule daily and specify outside appointments and activities • Conduct a weekly inventory of client medications and contact MS Department to ensure timely refills • Observe clients taking daily medications as prescribed adhering to medications times • Communicate with the MS Department and Directors of medication incident reports and med changes needed • Facilitate client transportation to CCI and outside appointments and activities in a timely manner • Transport clients in company owned vehicles to various locations and outside appointments; Must be 21 years of age or over, with a clean driving record • Conduct meal planning sessions and ensuring clients have listed all necessary ingredients for their meals and create the grocery list • Manage weekly household expenses providing receipts and reporting remaining funds • Work with each client individually to assist them in attaining client treatment goals • Send out an updated client Phase status weekly to the CCI/Solutions team • Counsel clients as needed for behavioral issues and schedule emergency psychiatric and/or individual therapy appointments when necessary • Retrieve client packages from CCI office • Attend weekly Solutions Staff Meeting and Internal Staffing Meeting • Updated Master Schedule Board and Client Information Station with schedule changes, weekly menu summary and chore list • Implement weekly UA test schedule and confirm • Oversee preparation for new clients in housing (make bed, notify existing clients of new addition 19. to their room, etc.) • Ensure clients are attending five outside meetings a week • Collect and review client Meeting Attendance Sheets, Phase-up and Pass Requests • Schedule daily store-runs for Phase I clients and manage cash and/or credit cards dispensed MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS Education, Training, and Experience Required: • High school diploma or equivalent and one (1) year of experience in behavioral health care, preferred • Attainment of at least 21 years of age • A Health Screening with negative TB Test Results ? Current CPR/ First Aid certification • D.L. or Government I.D, Drivers License required for transportation • Should be experienced house manager or Mental Health Technician, preferably in the field of chemical dependency and/or behavioral health Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Knowledge of industry standards as related to the position of House Manager • Basic knowledge of PC software programs, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred • Written and oral communication skills; must be able to concentrate on work amid distractions such as noise, conversations and foot traffic • Must maintain self-control in volatile or hostile situations such as when verbally or physically confronted in an aggressive manner • Must be able to work independently with little supervision in an unstructured environment with multiple demands • Must possess a reading and writing level that provides for clear expression and/or understanding of assignments related to job description. • Ability to represent the program well in interactions both inside and outside the facility AGE SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES (ADULT, Employees 21yrs+; Clients 18 yrs+) • Employee Must be 21 or over • Allows client to maintain control; involves client in decision-making and planning of care, as appropriate to condition and situation. • Encourages participation in care. • Demonstrates clinical knowledge of expected adult vital signs. • Recognizes abuse/neglect potential. • Encourages family support. • Recognizes/respects concerns over interruption of work/plans/separation from family, etc. • Recognizes fears regarding potential lifestyle changes. • Encourages verbalization of fears and anxiety; maintains age-appropriate communication EEOC STATEMENT: It is our policy to abide by all Federal and State laws, as well as the requirements of 41 CFR 60- 1.4(a), 60-300.5(a), and 60-741.5(a), prohibiting discrimination against qualified individuals based on their status as protected veterans or individuals with disabilities, and prohibiting discrimination against all individuals based on their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin.
