ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re seeking a compassionate and committed House Manager to lead one of our residential care homes in Bunbury. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll oversee day-to-day operations and create a safe, culturally respectful, and therapeutic environment for young people with complex needs.
This is a hands-on role based primarily on-site, with one day per week from home. Some shift work is required, including public holidays and occasional early starts (7:30am) and weekends, with applicable penalty rates.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and support a team of Residential Support Workers
• Ensure the home is emotionally and physically safe, nurturing, and engaging
• Build strong, trusting relationships with children and young people
• Manage care planning, transitions, and stakeholder collaboration
• Roster staff appropriately and respond to crisis situations when needed
• Facilitate team meetings, reflective supervision, and ongoing training
• Keep client records and reports up to date using CIRTS database
