POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a Bartender/Mixologist at House of Dawn, you are more than just a drink maker—you are a storyteller, a creator, and an ambassador of our beverage philosophy. You will craft both classic and signature cocktails, engage with guests at the bar and tableside, and uphold a high standard of service, cleanliness, and professionalism.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a bartender or mixologist in a high-volume or upscale restaurant/bar.
Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, beer, and bar techniques.
Creative flair and a genuine passion for hospitality and guest interaction.
Able to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
Smart Serve (or equivalent) certification required.
Knowledge of bar prep, batching, and mise en place a plus.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Prepare and serve classic cocktails, original creations, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency and efficiency.
Engage warmly with guests, offering recommendations based on flavor profiles and food pairings.
Contribute to menu development, seasonal cocktail launches, and spirit-forward features in collaboration with the bar team.
Maintain clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and communicate needs with the bar manager.
Handle cash and POS transactions accurately and responsibly.
Stay informed on current mixology trends, spirit brands, and beverage techniques.
Support the dining room team with beverage service and collaborate to ensure seamless guest experiences.
