We are a dynamic and ambitious team, focused on sustained growth, and we are actively seeking a proactive team player to join our House Management department within our collaborative coastal office.

Responsibilities

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

The core objective of this role within the House Management team is to ensure all holiday properties are consistently maintained to exceptional standards and presented impeccably. Additionally, the role involves the efficient management of property faults and emergencies as they arise, ensuring minimal disruption for our guests.
This position requires a blend of structured process adherence and agile, reactive problem-solving, necessitating strong workload management and organizational skills. This is a full-time role, comprising 40 hours per week, with standard office hours between 9:00 AM and 5:30 PM. We are open to considering part-time arrangements for exceptional candidates, and applicants interested in including Saturdays or Sundays as part of their regular working week are encouraged to apply. Remote “on-call” weekend and evening work will be required on a rota basis, with the potential for this aspect of the role to develop further. While primarily an office-based position, there is flexibility for 1-2 days of remote work per week.

MAIN DUTIES

Work within the house management team, including:

  • Providing an excellent service to our owners, building rapport with them and ensuring the operational running of their holiday lets happen efficiently
  • Logging, management, and resolution of house issues and ensuring any special requests are communicated to the correct team member
  • Management of regular tasks, such as Landlord Gas Certificates, Fire Equipment Servicing, and PAT tests
  • Management of subcontractors - such as gardeners, window cleaners, waste collection schedules, communicating maintenance requirements for each property
  • Sourcing of replacement house equipment
  • Setting up of new houses and forming a relationship with new owners
  • The management and return of security deposits to guests
  • Filing of both electronic and physical documentation relating to guests and owners alike
  • Recording and returning items left at houses
  • Management of information within email, letting software and any other IT systems
  • Providing Assistance to the Letting side of the business when necessary
