Samiad is one of the largest residential summer schools in the UK, dedicated to providing an enriching experience for over 1000 students from 70 countries. Established in 2013, we prioritize a high staff-to-student ratio and offer unique excursions and activities to ensure a memorable summer for our students.

QUALIFICATIONS & ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Experience working with children or young people in a pastoral or residential setting.
• First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain before employment).
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Enthusiastic, patient, and proactive approach to student welfare.
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with students, staff, and group leaders.
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare policies.

As a House Parent at Samiad Summer School, your role will be to oversee the welfare, safety, and overall experience of our students in the boarding house. Your primary responsibilities include pastoral care, discipline, and creating a welcoming, structured, and inclusive environment. This is a residential role requiring a proactive and supportive attitude.
