This role pays £12.60 per hour This vacancy is for 25 hours per week Interviews will be held on Wednesday 21st As Housekeeping Assistant you will assist the Head Housekeeper/Front of House Manager to maintain the highest standard of cleanliness, hygiene and comfort for customers within all village facilities and households. You will be expected to: Deliver domestic services in a manner that upholds the core values of Belong and in accordance with organisational requirements to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of customers, team members and other visiting members of the community that Belong serves. Respond to the needs of individual customers for domestic support to enable them to maintain their household accommodation. Assist the team by responding to requests for assistance with any aspect of housekeeping including cleaning and laundry tasks. Demonstrates qualities to deliver Belong vision and values. Communicates clearly and has a professional manner. Works independently and as part of team to ensure the customer’s needs are met and team goals are achieved. Prioritises tasks and completes to the required standard and in a timely manner. Able to undertake moving & handling of loads, which may involve using specialist equipment. Able to undertake housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry using relevant equipment. Able to complete written work records. Good customer care focus with a desire to serve others. An awareness of Health and Safety requirements and how to follow product safety advice sheets and procedures. Reliable and able to fulfil contracted hours and work patterns e.g. days, evenings, weekends. Diploma/NVQ 2 in Cleaning & Building Interiors or equivalent (Essential or working/prepared to work towards). Experience of previous commercial or domestic cleaning.
