OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments within the care home. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning or hotel environments is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and colleagues.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
  • A valid driver’s licence is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including communal areas, Dining room, lounge, and bedrooms.
  • Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management promptly.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Assist with additional duties as required, which may include light cooking or food preparation in certain settings.
