OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at PROMIS Hay Farm. The role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our clients and staff. Working as part of the wider housekeeping team, you will ensure high standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout the premises.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in a housekeeping, cleaning, or domestic role is essential.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
  • Respectful of client privacy and confidentiality at all times.
  • Reliable, punctual, and organised.
  • Physically able to carry out cleaning and laundry duties across a large site.
  • Candidates must have the right to work in the UK. We do not provide visa sponsorship for this role.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain all areas of the site, including client bedrooms, communal spaces, lounges, bathrooms, offices, and outdoor areas.
  • Conduct thorough deep cleans of client rooms upon discharge, ensuring readiness for new admissions.
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
  • Manage laundry operations including washing, drying, ironing, and returning both bed linens and personal client laundry in a timely manner.
  • Maintain stock levels of cleaning materials and report any needs or issues to the Head Housekeeper.
  • Follow infection control protocols and adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is used correctly and stored safely.
  • Provide cover for other housekeeping staff during holidays or absence.
