We are seeking a Housekeeper/cleaner to cover a daily shift from 8.30 am to 3.00 pm weekdays but could be flexible for the right person. 15-minute paid break and a half-hour unpaid lunch break.
This post requires the successful candidate to clean the properties of our residents, which can vary from a one bedroom apartment to a four bedroom house. You may also be required to help out from time to time in our laundry, as well as cleaning the communal areas of the main building to a high standard, and be part of our friendly team to provide a safe and happy environment for our residents.
The Village is a sheltered community of retired people aged 60+ who live independently in their own homes, so experience of working with the elderly is important but not essential. This is not a CQC-registered Care environment, but the successful applicant will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
We are a small team so flexibility is a requirement - we are seeking to deliver a quality service, so the ability and desire to pay attention to detail are essential. Full training will be given.
