Description Job Title: Environmental Services Aide / Housekeeper Schedule: Part Time -- Flexible Shifts Available Make Every Space Feel Like Home Are you someone who takes pride in creating clean, welcoming spaces? We’re looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Environmental Services Aide to help maintain a safe, comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and team members. Your work will play a key role in ensuring our facility feels warm, fresh, and inviting every day. What You’ll Do Clean and sanitize resident rooms, hallways, dining areas, bathrooms, and other common areas to maintain a high standard of cleanliness. Safely mix and use cleaning solutions and store them properly in designated areas. Handle and dispose of infectious waste bags and containers according to safety guidelines. Help create a positive, welcoming atmosphere for residents, families, and staff. Maintain punctuality and reliable attendance for scheduled shifts. Support the team by completing additional tasks as assigned. What We’re Looking For Ability to read and write at a level appropriate for the role. Strong communication skills to interact respectfully with residents, families, and coworkers. Knowledge of infection control practices or willingness to learn. A patient, polite, and service-oriented attitude. A strong sense of pride and ownership in keeping environments clean and safe. Requirements Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Licenses/Certification None required. Experience Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
