Description San Luis Post Acute Center in San Luis Obispo is seeking Housekeepers to join our team - with full time positions available. Our facility is locally owned and operated by Compass Health - we are dedicated to providing employees with a great place to work, with fair pay, great benefits and lots of growth potential. Housekeeper is responsible for performing the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Services Department to assure that facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner, and that an adequate supply of linen is on hand at all times to meet the needs of the residents in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing the facility. 18.90-$20 per hour, DOE QUALIFICATIONS: 1. High school graduate preferred. 2. Must have at least an eighth-grade education. 3. Has good verbal skills in English and demonstrates capability to work effectively with all employees. 4. Demonstrates interest and ability to work effectively with geriatric and disabled persons. 5. Has the ability to generate enthusiasm and cooperation from others and to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships. 6. Willingness to perform a variety of simple repetitive tasks and maintain patience and tact. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to move intermittently throughout the work day. Must be able to push, pull, move, and / or lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Must be able to bend, twist, squat, kneel and reach repeatedly throughout the day. May be necessary to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations.
