SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team at Doveleigh Care Limited on a full or part time basis. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our residents, contributing to their overall comfort and well-being.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills to interact positively with residents and staff.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • To follow daily cleaning schedules as designed to suit the needs of the Home
  • To follow requirements to undertake some tasks less frequently, eg. spring cleaning of vacated rooms, washing of paintwork
  • To be alert to taking initiative where necessary to ensure that the Home is maintained to a very high standard of cleanliness and comfort at all times
  • Perform general cleaning tasks to ensure all rooms and communal areas are kept clean and tidy
  • Change bed linen and towels regularly
  • Dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and cleaning surfaces
  • Ensure all areas meet hygiene standards
  • Assist with laundry duties when required
  • Basic cooking tasks such as preparing simple meals or snacks
