Job Overview Ebenezer is looking for a Housekeeper to join our team at Nine Mile Creek in Bloomington, MN! This position provides a clean, safe and pleasant environment for residents, staff and visitors. This enviornmental services schedule includes; 48 hours every two weeks Part time; Day shift Weekends as needed Nine Mile Creek Senior Living Community offers a total of 93 units; Independent, Assisted and Memory Care. Our community is in Bloomington, Minnesota next to the natural and rejuvenating setting of Moir Park with all the culture and entertainment of the Twin Cities just minutes away. As well, we are close to public transportation. Responsibilities: Cleans resident and common areas of the community as assigned. Performs thorough cleaning of all assigned areas, including vacuums carpets, sweeps and mops hard floor surfaces, dusts and/or damp wipes surfaces, sanitizes bathrooms, cleans all glass windows/mirrors. Prioritizes tasks and completes within allotted time. Assists in cleaning emergency spills as needed. Assumes other responsibilities as assigned. Follows cleaning schedule and instructions regarding specifications of resident’s individualized housekeeping needs. Performs job duties safely, using correct body mechanics and personal protective equipment. Safely mixes chemicals according to instructions provided by the manufacturer Consistently follows safe body mechanics Demonstrates precautionary work practices for the safety of others in the work areas, such as electric cords, wet floor signs, etc. Completes all OSHA training modules in a timely manner. Maintains cleaning equipment and supplies. Maintains housekeeping cart and storage area on daily basis. Safeguards others’ well-being by keeping chemicals and other hazardous materials locked when not in active use. Communicates supplies that need to be re-stocked. Communicates need for equipment repairs. Adheres to all Lockout/Tagout requirements per policy. Assists with light maintenance tasks as needed. Participates actively in team meetings, reports on current state in the Community, providing feedback on housekeeping-related items as they arise. Required Qualifications: less than 1 year of previous experience Ability to utilize software programs in order to complete work functions.
