Benefits start the first of the month following your start date. Job Summary: We are seeking a full-time EVS Technician for a combined role of Housekeeper and Floor Tech. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining clean, attractive, and safe public spaces and patient/resident areas. You will perform routine housekeeping tasks as well as specialized floor maintenance in hallways and common areas. Key Responsibilities: Provide daily housekeeping services, including cleaning floors, restrooms, and public areas. Perform floor cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, spot cleaning of carpet, bonnet cleaning and extraction of carpet. Follow cleaning schedules (daily, weekly, monthly) for assigned areas. Dust, disinfect, and sanitize surfaces and fixtures (e.g., restrooms, light fixtures, and water fountains). Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and report any repair needs for cleaning equipment. Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures. Comply with Federal, State, and facility guidelines for housekeeping services. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Housekeeping/EVS Manager. Qualifications Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. At least 1 year of housekeeping experience in a healthcare or senior living setting is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning practices, infection prevention, and floor maintenance techniques. Must be customer service-oriented with strong communication skills. Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds and work with cleaning agents/chemicals. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed. Physical Demands and Work Environment: This role involves standing, walking, lifting, bending, and working with cleaning supplies throughout the shift. You will work in various areas of the facility, including resident rooms, public spaces, and stairwells. The position may require handling infectious waste and exposure to cleaning chemicals.
