Responsibilities for the Housekeeping position include: Clean, sweep, and mop areas of the building Restock supplies and maintain equipment in a clean, safe, and functional condition. Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately. Perform trash runs as scheduled. Assist with event setups and teardowns as requested, including moving tables, chairs, and equipment. Respond promptly to ad hoc requests received via radio communication (spills, urgent cleaning needs, etc.). Maintain good communication and teamwork with the day and night shift staff for continuity of service. Perform floor care projects throughout the campus, including: Top scrubbing and refinishing hard floor areas. Hot water extraction of carpets and upholstery. Conducting building rounds to identify recurring or new carpet spots/stains and remediating them as downtime tasks. Cross-trained to provide relief coverage in other housekeeping or porter roles during absences or staffing shortages. Additional duties as assigned Requirements for the Housekeeping position include: Prior housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred. Previous experience in healthcare environment is a plus. A solid work history with excellent attendance & punctuality. High school diploma/GED OR 1 to 3 years of related experience. Basic computer knowledge. Must have the ability to complete required safety classes. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be able to pass FBI/BCI background check, drug test, TB test, and sanctions check for working in a health care facility.
