Our Extended Stay Hotel is hiring a full-time housekeeper for 40 hours a week.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
(1) Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred.
(2) Strong work ethic and a keen eye for detail.
(3) Excellent organizational skills.
(4) Ability to manage time efficiently and work independently.
(5) Good interpersonal and communication skills.
(6) Ability to handle physically demanding tasks.
After successful completion of a 30-day probationary period, housekeepers who work at least 30 hours a week are eligible for a 50% discount on their monthly room rent at the property where they are employed.

THE HOUSEKEEPER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
(1) Premises Cleanliness: Ensure the cleanliness of all hotel rooms and common areas within the building, maintaining a high standard of hygiene and orderliness at all times.
(2) Room Availability: Work efficiently to ensure that as many rooms as possible are ready for guest use at all times, which involves cleaning rooms promptly after check-out and during weekly services for occupied rooms.
(3) Housekeeping Closet Organization: Keep the housekeeping closet well-stocked and organized, managing supplies effectively to prevent shortages. This will involve communicating effectively with the property manager.
(4) Guest Relations: Interact with guests in a kind and professional manner, ensuring that each guest feels welcomed and well cared for.
(5) Perform onsite laundry services to keep linen closet stocked.
(6) Assist in reporting and remediation of any pest infestations.
DAILY TASKS CHECKLIST:
(1) Clean hotel rooms and common areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness.
(2) Stock and organize the housekeeping closet.
(3) Service occupied rooms once a week.
(4) Interact professionally with guests, answering any queries or concerns.
(5) Report any maintenance issues to the front desk.
(6) Restock room supplies such as toiletries and linens.
(7) Remove trash and dirty linens from each room.
(8) Follow the hotel’s lost and found procedures and turn in any items left in rooms.
(9) Use hotel laundry facilities to clean dirty linens
