HOTEL HOUSEKEEPER / GUEST ROOM ATTENDANT JOB SUMMARY The Hotel Housekeeper / Guest Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms and public areas while ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This position plays a vital role in creating a positive guest experience by providing exceptional housekeeping services in accordance with hotel policies and procedures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, and assigned hotel areas according to established standards. * Change bed linens, make beds, and replace towels and guest amenities. * Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize guest rooms and common areas. * Empty trash containers and remove used linens. * Inspect rooms for cleanliness, maintenance needs, and safety concerns. * Report maintenance issues, damaged items, and lost-and-found property to supervisors. * Restock housekeeping carts with supplies and linens. * Ensure rooms are ready for arriving guests within required timeframes. * Follow hotel safety, sanitation, and security procedures. * Provide courteous and professional service to guests and respond to requests promptly. * Work collaboratively with other housekeeping and hotel staff to ensure guest satisfaction. QUALIFICATIONS * Previous hotel housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. * Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent time management and organizational skills. * Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, standing, and walking for extended periods. * Dependable, punctual, and customer-service oriented. SCHEDULE * Full-time and Part-time positions available. * Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as needed.
