JOB SUMMARY

The Housekeeper/Housekeeping Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the facility. This position involves performing housekeeping duties and overseeing the housekeeping staff. The ideal candidate is hands-on, has a strong background in hospitality and cleaning management, with strong attention to detail and leadership skills.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, including scheduling staff and assigning tasks.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to promote a high level of performance and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery across the facility.
  • Develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols that align with industry best practices.
  • Maintain records related to housekeeping operations, including staff schedules, inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and inspection reports.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and reporting any maintenance needs.
  • And perform all duties of a housekeeper, including:
  • Vacuuming and Mopping the floor
  • Dusting and Sanitizing the surfaces
  • Cleaning and Disinfecting bathrooms
  • Doing laundry, Ironing sheets and linens
  • Making beds and Changing sheets
  • Waxing and Polishing furniture and floors
  • And performing other related duties as assigned
