Description Reports to: Asst. General Manager/Clubhouse Manager Employment Status: Seasonal FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt Job Summary: The primary responsibility of housekeeper/house-person at Eastward Ho! include daily cleaning of the entire Clubhouse and immediate adjacent areas. Additional responsibilities include the daily opening of the Clubhouse, prepare coffee and the daily opening of our Halfway Ho! Cart (snack bar.) Housekeeper/House-person will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all rooms, offices and indoor common areas at the Club, which includes vacuuming floors, dusting, replenishing linens and towels, disinfecting bathrooms, and washing windows. Requirements Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 1. Open Clubhouse and prepare coffee every morning for member consumption. 2. Vacuum and clean all carpeted and non-carpeted floors daily (include Clubhouse, basement, kitchen, office and Halfway Ho! Cart). 3. Polish furniture and brass stair railings. 4. Remove trash and recycle in Clubhouse, restrooms and basement storage area daily. 5. Clean Clubhouse windows daily. 6. Clean and stock all bathrooms in Clubhouse, Locker Rooms and course bathroom adjacent to Clubhouse daily. 7. Clean and stock Pro Shop and Greens & Grounds bathrooms. 8. Remove rubbish, vacuum and clean the Club offices. 9. Dust all furniture, ceiling, light fixtures and corners. 10. Set up and stock Halfway Ho! Cart (snack bar) daily. 11. Launder all kitchen and locker room towels, restaurant linen and kitchen/steward uniform daily and ensuring sufficient supplies on hand for daily business. 12. Clean and organize all Housekeeping and Dry Goods supplies. 13. Clean and setup Terrace and North Lawn area daily as needed. 14. Assist the Flower Committee in setting up and breaking down tables as needed. 15. Alerts Manager of all maintenance related issues. 16. Clean and maintain stock in bathrooms on the golf course. Qualifications: Applicants must three (3) months of experience at a high-end hotel, resort, or private club required. Must have reliable transportation to and from work and must be available and willing to work early mornings. Must be fluent in English and work well not only independently but also within a team. Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach. Able to push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.
